And even if we did, there are still the neighbors. It's the reason most kids who want drums never start.
Most of our students practice on a practice pad at home: a quiet, plate-sized surface that costs little, makes no noise, and develops exactly what's needed: hands, rhythm and precision. The full kit waits for them in our room. Some move after a year to an electronic kit with headphones, completely silent.
No student has ever given up drums with us because of space. There's a solution for every home.
What really happens in a lesson
No dry exercises and no memorizing. This is what a drum lesson with us looks like, from the moment you walk into the room.
Sitting right and holding right
Before any exercise. Seat height, stick grip, distance from the kit. It sounds technical, but it's the difference between a drummer who progresses and back pain at thirty.
The basic groove
Eight eighth-notes. The beat that drives 80% of Western music. Once it sits, you can play along with real songs, and that happens fast.
Four-limb coordination
Two hands and two feet doing four different things at the same time. That's the magic of the instrument, and that's what takes time. We build it in layers, without breaking anything.
Playing with the music
Not a dry metronome. You drum to real songs, learn to listen to the bass and follow structure. A good drummer listens before playing.
Being the backbone of the band
Drummers are the most sought-after instrument in ensembles and always in short supply. Students who reach this level join an ensemble and perform at the concert.

At this age drums are a ticket in. A decent drummer will always find a band. We build repertoire and place students in ensembles as soon as the basics sit.
The best release there is
No instrument clears the head like an hour behind a drum kit. Adults come after work, drum to songs they love, and leave as different people.

Musicians from the industry who chose to teach: music academy graduates, players who perform and record, with experience teaching kids, teens and adults. Not students topping up their income.
Academy graduates. Formal training in drums, theory and music education. They know how to explain why, not just show how.
From the stage and the studio. Working musicians who perform and record, bringing what's happening in the industry right now into the lesson: repertoire, sound and playing in a band.
Experienced with every age. A shy eight-year-old, a teenager who wants to play the songs he loves and an adult fulfilling a dream get three completely different lessons. Adapting is part of the craft.
With you all the way to the stage. The same teacher who teaches you in the room goes up with you to the concert. And if the chemistry isn't working, we switch teachers, no drama.

We have no room for drums at home. Is it even possible?
Yes, and that's the situation for most students. You practice on a quiet practice pad at home and play on a full kit in the lesson. It works great, and it's how conservatories teach too.
From what age?
From around seven, when the child reaches the pedal comfortably. Younger kids can start with percussion and move to the kit later.
Do I need to read music?
No. Drums are learned mainly by ear and by imitation. Drum notation comes in at a later stage, and only for those who want it.
The neighbors. Is it really not a problem?
A practice pad is almost completely silent. An electronic kit with headphones: completely silent. The only noise stays in our room, and it's soundproofed.
What happens in the trial lesson?
Thirty minutes on a full kit with us, no commitment. You drum, we check coordination, and you decide afterwards.

Rockstar Home – the lesson comes to you
In the neighborhoods north of the Yarkon where the service operates, the drum lesson can also take place at the student's home, subject to teacher availability.*
