It's almost always the story. You buy a guitar, open a YouTube video, and two weeks later it's standing in the corner.
It isn't talent and it isn't discipline. A video can't see your hand. It doesn't know your thumb is in the wrong place, that the guitar's neck is too high, and that this is why the chord comes out choked. Three minutes of a teacher watching you solve what two months of trial and error didn't.
Most people who come to us after trying on their own play a full song within four to six lessons.
What really happens in a lesson
No dry exercises and no memorizing. This is what a guitar lesson with us looks like, from the moment you walk into the room.
Guitar in hand, not theory
We don't start with sheet music or scales. Within ten minutes you're holding the instrument correctly and playing your first sound. We believe you should leave the first lesson with something you can show at home.
Three chords
With three chords you can play hundreds of songs. This is the turning point: the moment it stops being an exercise and starts being music.
Songs you choose
Not “lesson number 4” from a book. You bring a song you love and we break it down together. Pop, rock, Israeli or international: your repertoire is the curriculum.
Technique that grows out of the song
Strumming, fingerpicking, barre chords, solos: each technique comes in the moment the song you're playing needs it, not as a detached exercise. That's how it sticks.
Playing with others
Guitar on your own is fun. Guitar in a band is something else entirely. Students who reach this stage move on to ensembles and the annual concert.

Usually they ask for an electric and get a classical from their parents. With us you start with what excites you, because a kid who's excited practices and a kid who's bored quits. The technique builds exactly the same way.

At this age they arrive with a list of songs in their head. The lesson is built around it. Some go on to ensembles, write their own, and perform at the concert.

No exams and no competition. Come once a week, learn to play the songs you grew up on, and within six months you're playing around a campfire without apologizing.

How long until I can play a full song?
In most cases four to six lessons. With three chords you can already play real songs, and we build the sequence precisely to get there fast.
Do I need my own guitar?
Not for the first lesson, we have instruments here. Once you decide to continue it's worth having a guitar at home, and we'll help you choose one without overpaying.
Classical, acoustic or electric?
There's no single right answer. It depends on the kind of music you want to play and on age. In the trial lesson we'll hear what you love and give you an honest recommendation.
My fingers hurt at the beginning. Is that normal?
Completely, and it passes within two to three weeks. There are ways to make it easier: softer strings, the right string height and a measured amount of practice. It's one of the reasons people quit on their own and don't quit with us.
What happens in the trial lesson?
Thirty minutes with us in the studio, no commitment. You play something, we see where to start from, and you decide afterwards whether to continue.
